Introduction to Cowboy Boot Making

Introductory class on cowboy boot making. No prerequisites required. Each student will complete 1 pair of western cowboy boots.

The following will be covered in this course:

• Introduction to choosing the right tools and how to use them
• Designing and Pattern Making
• Choosing the Right Leather
• Adhesive Selection and Use
• Stitching 
• Preparing edges and choosing the appropriate dye/paint

Projects will be made with top quality calf and/or goat leather or can upgrade to exotic hides such as alligator, python, stingray and others at an additional cost.
